Primary 5 is the year the PSLE outcome is genuinely shaped. The P5 MOE Maths syllabus introduces the hardest pre-PSLE topics — fractions of remainders, ratio with changing quantities, percentage increase/decrease, rate, average, and the area-and-perimeter problems that combine multiple shapes.
