How does The Singapore Syllabus match me with a tutor?
Tell us your child's level, subject, area and any tutor-style preference. We screen our vetted, MOE-aligned tutor pool and send 2-4 matched profiles, usually within 48 hours, by WhatsApp or email. You choose which tutor to work with.
Is there any fee for parents to find a tutor?
No. Parents pay no agency or commission fee. Tutors pay us a one-time placement commission when a match is confirmed, and you pay the tutor directly at the agreed hourly rate from the first lesson onwards.
How quickly can a tutor start in Singapore?
Most non-urgent matches are proposed within 48 hours, with lessons beginning in about 5 to 10 days. During exam season (the 8 weeks before PSLE, O-Level, A-Level or IB) we prioritise urgent requests and can match within 48 hours.
What if the first tutor isn't the right fit?
We re-match you with another tutor free of charge, no questions asked. Most families continue with the first tutor we propose, but the free re-match means there is no risk if the fit is wrong.
Which levels and subjects do you cover?
PSLE, GCE O-Level, GCE A-Level, the Integrated Programme, IB Diploma and IGCSE, across Mathematics, the Sciences, English, Chinese and humanities, all taught to the latest MOE and SEAB syllabus codes.
Are lessons in-home or online?
Both. Home tuition runs islandwide across Singapore, or lessons can be fully online if you prefer. Both formats are priced the same and matched the same way.
