I’ve tried other tuition agencies before, but TSS is definitely the one I’d recommend. The service is much better.

Frequently asked questions
Will tutors actually travel out to Jurong West and Pioneer?
Yes. Tutors travel to your home anywhere in Jurong West, including Boon Lay, Pioneer, Lakeside and blocks away from the MRT. The rate is the same wherever you live in the town.
Can you find a tutor who knows Rulang Primary and River Valley High?
For Rulang Primary, we look for tutors who know the PSLE Math and Science syllabus well. River Valley High is a SAP school, so Higher Chinese is a common focus, and we look for tutors with a strong Chinese background for those students. Tell us the school when you enquire so the tutor can plan around its test schedule.
How quickly can you find a tutor in Jurong West?
For Math, English and Science at primary and lower-secondary level, you usually get a shortlist of 2 to 4 tutor profiles within 16 hours, and the first lesson usually within 5 to 10 days. For Higher Chinese the shortlist can take a little longer. Weekday 4 to 6pm and weekend mornings are popular slots, so flexible timings match faster. In the run-up to the PSLE and the SEC, we recommend booking a couple of weeks ahead.
Which subjects do Jurong West families usually ask for?
At primary level, common requests are PSLE Math and Science. At secondary level, families often ask for lower-secondary Math and Science foundation work, then A-Math and the pure sciences for Sec 3 and Sec 4. Mother Tongue support, including Higher Chinese and Malay, is also common. At JC level, requests are mostly for H2 Math.
Is this a tuition centre in Jurong West?
No. We match 1-to-1 tutors who come to your home in Jurong West, so there is no travel to a centre and lessons fit around your child's timetable. If you prefer small-group classes at a centre, our home tuition and tuition centre comparison explains the differences.
