Tuition agency or a private tutor you find yourself?

Are tuition agencies regulated in Singapore?
Not in the way tuition centres are. Under the Education Act, centres that teach 10 or more students must register with MOE. MOE has said these rules do not cover freelance tutors who teach in homes, or agencies that match private tutors with students. So ask any agency to show you a tutor's qualifications and to give you its terms in writing.

You pay only the hourly rate shown on your tutor shortlist, from the first lesson onward. The rate depends on your child's level and the type of tutor, from undergraduate tutors to ex-MOE teachers.
How fast can an agency match a tutor?
You get a shortlist of 2 to 4 tutor profiles within 16 hours, and the first lesson usually within 5 to 10 days.
Which levels and subjects do you cover?
Primary to JC, plus IP and IB, across Math, the Sciences, English, Chinese and other subjects, including H2 subjects at A-Level.
What if the matched tutor is not the right fit?
Tell us what did not work and we re-match you with another tutor at no charge.
