I am an NUS Dentistry undergraduate and a graduate of ACS (Independent), Class of 2023, where I scored 43 out of 45 for the IB Diploma. I have been tutoring for 4 years. I teach the sciences to students from Sec 3 to JC 2 and in the IB, and E-Math to upper secondary students.

How I teach

I aim for real understanding, not memorisation. I want students to understand a concept well enough to apply it to a question they have not seen before. I also spend time on exam technique, so students know how to set out their answers and what each type of question is asking for.

I took the IB not long ago, and my Higher Level subjects were Biology, Chemistry and Math AA. This means I know the current IB syllabus and assessment style well, and I can share how I prepared for my own exams.

Subjects and levels

I teach Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Sec 3 to JC 2 and in the IB, and E-Math for Sec 3 and 4.
