I am a Year 2 university undergraduate and I have completed my A-Levels. I have taken part in several mathematics competitions, and I received a Distinction in the Euclid Mathematics Contest in 2023. I have been tutoring for 2 years, and I teach E-Math, A-Math and Science to Sec 3 students.

How I teach

I explain topics patiently and step by step, so that students understand the ideas instead of memorising them. I set the pace of each lesson to suit the student, and I use real world examples to make abstract concepts easier to follow. I build confidence first, then move on to targeted practice and exam techniques. My competition experience helps me break harder problems down into simpler steps that students can follow. I give parents regular updates on the areas their child needs to work on.
