Best E Math Tuition Centres in Singapore (2027): 10 Compared

Written and reviewed by Theon Teo, Founder · editorial policy

Ten E Math tuition centres for Sec 3 and Sec 4 side by side: published fees turned into a cost per hour, class sizes, branches with the nearest MRT, trial terms and questions to ask, plus what the 2027 SEC K310 papers test and how E Math differs from A Math.

The best E Math tuition centre depends on what your child needs. For the smallest classes, look at eduKate Punggol (groups of 3) or Ancourage Academy (Bishan and Woodlands, cap of 6, with a separate G2 class). For the lowest published fee, Odyssey Math Tuition in Eunos charges S$280 a month for four 2-hour lessons, and Matrix Math charges S$720 for ten 2-hour Sec 4 lessons across 12 centres. In the west, Tim Gan Math (Jurong East), Math Academy (Bukit Gombak) and Matt's Education (Clementi and Jurong West) all run E Math classes. For a live online class, The Annexe Project teaches E Math on weekday evenings for S$260 per four sessions.

Centres quote fees per lesson, per month, per term or per 10 lessons, and lesson lengths run from 1.5 to 2 hours. This guide lists each fee exactly as published, then works out a comparable cost per hour. Every fact was read on the centre's own website on 8 November 2026. Where a centre does not publish something, we say "not published" rather than guess.

How we chose these centres

We searched Google for "e math tuition singapore", "o level e math tuition centre", "sec 4 maths tuition" and "elementary maths tuition", plus area searches for the north, east and west, and noted the centres that rank and the ones other listicles name. We kept the centres that meet all four tests below.

  1. Teaches E Math as a named classThe centre runs a Sec 3 or Sec 4 E Math (G3 or G2 Mathematics) class, not only lower secondary or A Math.
  2. Publishes its programmeIts website shows at least the fee, the timetable, the class size or the teacher for upper secondary maths.
  3. Runs active branchesIt lists a current address, a 2027 timetable or a live online class.
  4. Spread of area, price and styleTogether, the 10 cover every region of Singapore, very small and larger classes, on-site and online, and a range of fees.

All facts were checked on 8 November 2026. Fees often change in January, so confirm the current figure before you pay. No centre paid to appear here. The detail section is in alphabetical order, not a ranking. We kept overlap low with our best A Math tuition centres guide and best maths tuition guide, so read those for more choices.

The 10 centres in detail

Ancourage Academy

What is distinctive. Ancourage runs Sec 3 and Sec 4 G3 E-Maths in groups of 3 to 6, capped at 6, and it is the only centre here with a separate published Sec 4 G2 E-Maths class, matched to the SEC G2 syllabus K210. Each weekly lesson is 2 hours. Its method combines spaced retrieval practice, Socratic questioning and step-by-step scaffolding. The founder and academic director is Min Hui.

Suits: a G2 student who needs a class pitched at G2, or a quiet student who needs the teacher to notice where they get stuck. May not suit: a family that wants to compare a listed fee before calling, since fees are given only as a quote.

Fees as published: Not published on the E-Maths pages, which point to a pricing page that sells lesson packages. The trial class is offered at no charge (usually S$18).

Branches: Bishan, 152 Bishan St 11, #01-215 (about 10 minutes from Bishan MRT). Woodlands, Vista Point, 548 Woodlands Drive 44, #02-16 (about 5 minutes from Woodlands South MRT).

Website: ancourage.academy

Ask at the trial: What does a 4-lesson block cost? How many students are in this slot today? Does the same teacher take the class all year?

eduKate Punggol

What is distinctive. eduKate's Punggol centre teaches Sec 4 E-Math and A-Math in groups of three. Each 90-minute lesson follows a set flow, and extra clinics run before school tests and mock exams. Its E-Math page lists algebra, graphs and functions, geometry and trigonometry, vectors, and statistics and probability.

Suits: a north-east student who wants near one-to-one attention but still likes working beside a classmate or two. May not suit: a family that wants a fee and a named teacher up front, since neither is published.

Fees as published: Not published. The page asks families to book a consultation. Limited trial lessons may be available, depending on space in a group of three.

Branch: 83 Punggol Central, near Punggol MRT and Waterway Point.

Website: edukatesg.com

Ask at the trial: What is the monthly fee? Who teaches the group? Does the group follow G3 or G2 Mathematics?

Eipi Math

What is distinctive. Eipi Math is a specialist maths centre at Beauty World, taught by Mr Luo Xingqun, who graduated from SMU with First Class Honours in Economics and Actuarial Science and has taught mathematics since 2014. It offers O-Level Math as a group class or one-to-one, and also teaches IB and A-Level maths.

Suits: a central student who wants the same specialist teacher every week, or a family weighing group and one-to-one at one centre. May not suit: a family on a tight budget, since its group fee works out to the highest hourly cost in this list.

Fees as published: S$1,300 per term of 13 lessons for a group class and S$3,900 for one-to-one, from its O-Level and IB SL maths fee table. The page gives 19.5 hours a term, which works out to 1.5-hour lessons. Class size, trial terms and any registration fee are not published.

Branch: Beauty World Centre #03-27A (Beauty World MRT, Exit A).

Website: eipimath.com

Ask at the trial: How many students are in the group class? Is the class for E Math only, or mixed with A Math? Can my child join mid-term at a pro-rated fee?

Math Academy

What is distinctive. Sec 3 and Sec 4 E Maths classes are capped at 7 and follow the G3 syllabus. The centre's E Maths page names co-founders Ms Jolyn Ang and Ms Raine Ang, and its home page says Ms Raine Ang holds an NUS degree in Mathematics and has 15 years of experience. Notes, worksheets and marking are included.

Suits: a west-side student who wants a very small class at a weekday or weekend slot. May not suit: a student who wants to join online, since the home page says E Maths classes are on-site only.

Fees as published: S$340 per 4 lessons of 1.5 hours. There are no registration or material fees. Trial terms are not published. The 2027 timetable lists Sec 3 on Wednesday 5pm, Saturday 5.40pm and Sunday 12.30pm, and Sec 4 on Wednesday 6.45pm, Thursday 7pm and Saturday 7.20pm.

Branch: Bukit Gombak, opposite Bukit Gombak MRT.

Website: mathacademy.sg

Ask at the trial: Which co-founder takes my child's slot? How full is the class? Is a trial lesson charged?

Matrix Math

What is distinctive. Matrix Math teaches Sec 3 and Sec 4 E Math and A Math in separate classes of up to 8, each a 2-hour weekly lesson. Classes follow G3, and G2 students are welcome in them, with the teacher giving extra help. Lessons follow a three-part routine of concept, guided practice and exam-style questions, built on a step-by-step way of reading a question. Its Clementi branch keeps one or two seats free in each class for make-up lessons.

Suits: a family that wants a branch close to home almost anywhere in Singapore and a low hourly fee. May not suit: a G2 student who would rather be in a class taught at G2 pace throughout.

Fees as published: S$710 per 10 lessons for Sec 3 and S$720 for Sec 4, per subject, nett. Taking E Math and A Math together costs S$1,390 (Sec 3) or S$1,410 (Sec 4). There are no registration or material fees. A trial lesson costs S$75 and counts as the first lesson if your child joins within a week.

Branches: Marine Parade, Bedok, Queenstown, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Yishun, Bukit Batok, Clementi, Jurong East, Bukit Timah, Toa Payoh and Bukit Panjang. The site does not name the nearest MRT. Website: matrixmath.sg

Ask at the trial: Which slots at my nearest branch are E Math only? How many students are in this class? Who teaches it all year?

Matt's Education

What is distinctive. Matt's Education runs Sec 3 and Sec 4 E Math in 2-hour lessons with a wide 2027 timetable, for example Sec 4 slots on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday evenings and Saturday. Its E Math page describes error analysis in a small group, timed practice and its own practice papers.

Suits: a west or central student who needs a particular evening or weekend slot. May not suit: a student who wants a very small class, since the stated cap is 14.

Fees as published: Not published. A S$35 registration fee applies, and a deposit of one month's fee is refunded if you give one month's notice. Fees are collected before the first lesson of each month. Trial terms are not published.

Miracle Math

What is distinctive. Miracle Math keeps secondary maths classes to 8 or 9 students, with 2-hour lessons that run in three steps: concept teaching, practice and application, then homework and review. Each class usually has one dedicated secondary maths tutor. Enrolled students get recorded lessons and digital notes, and lessons can be on-site or online.

Suits: an east-side student who needs a weekday evening slot. May not suit: a family that wants to try a lesson first, since the centre says it no longer offers trials through the year.

An approved calculator is allowed in both papers, the relevant formulae are provided, and students need geometrical instruments for both. Missing essential working loses marks, and non-exact answers go to 3 significant figures (1 decimal place for angles in degrees). SEAB weights the skills as 45% using standard techniques (AO1), 40% solving problems in context (AO2) and 15% reasoning and communicating (AO3).

The real-world question at the end of Paper 2 can draw on travel plans, transport schedules, floor plans, and household money such as interest, tax, instalments, bills and currency exchange. It can also ask students to read distance-time and speed-time graphs. That is why a good centre gives long, mixed-topic practice and not only topical worksheets.

How E Math differs from A Math

E Math is the core maths subject. A-Math (G3 Additional Mathematics, K341) is an extra subject taken alongside it, and its syllabus assumes the content of G3 Mathematics.

How to choose an E Math tuition centre

  1. Start from the gapLook at the last school test. Losing marks on algebra and graphs, on geometry and trigonometry, or on statistics and the long real-world question? Pick a centre whose method fits that gap.
  2. Check G2 or G3Confirm your child's subject level, and ask whether the class is taught at that level. Only Ancourage publishes a separate G2 class here.
  3. Compare cost per hourTurn every quote into a cost per hour and add registration, materials and deposit. Our table does this for the published fees.
  4. Check the class size for your slotAsk for the actual number in the class your child would join, not the cap.
  5. Book one trialSome centres charge for the trial and some count it as the first lesson. Ask before you go.
  6. Review after one monthCompare the next school test with the last. If nothing has changed after about 6 to 8 lessons, ask the centre for a plan or switch.

Trial-lesson checklist

  • Who teaches the class for the whole year, and who covers if they are away?
  • How many students are in this exact slot, and is it E Math only?
  • Is the material matched to the 2027 K310 (or K210) syllabus, with timed Paper 1 and Paper 2 practice?
  • Does the class practise the long real-world question that ends Paper 2?
  • Does the teacher mark full working, not only answers?
  • How are questions handled between lessons?
  • What does a missed lesson cost, and is there a recording?
  • What notice is needed to stop, and is any deposit refunded?

Common questions

How much does E Math tuition at a centre cost in Singapore?

Among the centres we checked on 8 November 2026, published group fees work out to about S$35 to S$66.70 an hour. Monthly, that is S$280 at Odyssey Math Tuition and S$340 for four 1.5-hour lessons at Math Academy, before any registration fee or deposit.

What is the best E Math tuition centre in Singapore?

There is no single best centre. eduKate Punggol and Ancourage Academy have the smallest published classes, Odyssey Math Tuition and Matrix Math have the lowest hourly fees, and The Annexe Project suits a student who wants a live online class.

Which E Math centres have the smallest classes?

eduKate Punggol teaches groups of 3, Ancourage Academy caps classes at 6, Odyssey Math Tuition has 6 to 8, Math Academy caps at 7 and Matrix Math at 8. Miracle Math has 8 to 9 and Matt's Education caps at 14.

Do E Math centres offer trial lessons?

Most do. Ancourage Academy and Odyssey Math Tuition offer a trial at no charge, Tim Gan Math charges S$80 and Matrix Math S$75, which counts as the first lesson if you join within a week. Miracle Math says it no longer offers trials through the year.

Is there E Math tuition for G2 students?

Yes. Ancourage Academy runs a separate Sec 4 G2 class for the K210 syllabus, Matrix Math welcomes G2 students in its classes, and Odyssey Math Tuition lists G2 resources. Ask any centre whether the lessons are pitched at G2.

When should my child start E Math tuition?

Sec 3 is a common start, because algebra, graphs and trigonometry in that year carry into Sec 4 work and the SEC papers. Starting before the Sec 3 mid-year exams leaves time to fix gaps.

Is online E Math tuition as good as a physical class?

It suits a student who will ask questions on screen. The Annexe Project charges S$260 for four 1.5-hour live sessions with recordings, and Tim Gan Math lets students join its centre class by livestream.

Is one-to-one tuition better than a centre for E Math?

One-to-one follows a single student's gaps and school schedule, which helps a student who is behind or anxious. It costs S$35 to S$95 an hour on our Sec 3 to 4 rate card, compared with about S$35 to S$66.70 at the centres above.

What does the 2027 E Math exam include?

G3 Mathematics (K310) has two papers of 2 hours 15 minutes, each worth 90 marks and 50%. Paper 1 has about 26 short questions, Paper 2 has 9 to 10, and the last question in Paper 2 applies maths to a real-world scenario.

Are these centres paid to be listed?

No. We chose them by the criteria above and took every fact from each centre's own website on 8 November 2026.
