The E-Math exam these papers prepare for

The papers were set for O-Level Mathematics (4052) in 2026 and SEC G3 Mathematics (K310) from 2027. SEAB's scheme of assessment is the same for both years:

PaperQuestionsTimeMarksWeighting
Paper 1About 26 short-answer questions2 h 15 min9050%
Paper 29 to 10 questions, the last one on a real-world task2 h 15 min9050%

A calculator is allowed in both papers, and the exam prints the relevant formulae. Bring geometrical instruments to both.

Which topics do these papers test most?

Counted from the topics listed on each paper's page: how many papers test each topic. A topic that shows up in most papers is worth revising first.

How to use E-Math papers well

  1. Practise the last question of Paper 2SEAB sets it on applying maths to a real-world scenario. Practise reading the context carefully and ending with a clear written answer.
  2. Give answers to 3 significant figuresSEAB asks for non-exact answers to 3 significant figures, and angles in degrees to 1 decimal place, unless the question says otherwise.
  3. Time Paper 1 tightlyAbout 26 questions in 2 h 15 min is roughly 5 minutes each. Mark any question that runs long and come back to it.

Questions about these papers

Are these E-Math papers still good practice for the 2027 SEC?

Yes. The final O-Level is in October and November 2026, and from 2027 Sec 4 students sit the Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC). SEAB's 2027 G3 syllabus sets the same papers, marks and timings as the 2026 O-Level syllabus, so school papers set for the O-Level are close practice for G3. Check any topic you are unsure of against the current syllabus.

Do the E-Math papers come with answers?

17 of the 17 come with answers, as a separate PDF so the paper can be tried first. 17 of those are the school's own answer key, and the rest were typed by an unofficial source, which the paper's page says because we have not checked them.

Does the E-Math exam give a formula list?

Yes. SEAB prints the relevant mathematical formulae in the O-Level 4052 and SEC G3 K310 papers, such as compound interest, the surface areas and volumes of cones and spheres, and the sine and cosine rules. Formulae that are not printed, such as the gradient of a line, still have to be learnt. Our E-Math formula sheet shows which are which.

Are the papers free?

Yes. Enter your email and mobile once, and every paper on this site then downloads straight away on that device.
