I am a final year NTU undergraduate in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, with a Minor in Education Studies. I have more than 4 years of tutoring experience. I teach Math from Primary 1 to Secondary 5, as well as Upper Secondary Chemistry and Biology.

How I teach

My main focus is Secondary Math, for both G2 and G3 students in Lower and Upper Sec. Many of my students come to me with a weak foundation, so I spend time rebuilding the basics and their confidence. I start by finding each student's learning gaps, then plan lessons around their pace, strengths and goals. Lessons cover a clear understanding of concepts, a systematic way to solve problems and exam techniques, and then I reinforce what we have learnt with memorisation. I keep parents updated regularly and use student feedback forms to track progress. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes, so they become more independent.
