Work out the score, then see which schools it met last year
Step 1: enter the raw marks to get the PSLE Score and Posting Group. Step 2: enter that score and your zone to see the schools whose 2025 cut-off point it met.
PSLE Score Calculator
Enter the raw exam mark (out of 100) for each subject. Each mark is converted to its Achievement Level, and the four ALs are summed.
Enter all four marks to see the PSLE Score (4 to 32).
Secondary school range finder
Enter the PSLE Score (4 to 30) and pick a zone. Indicative only: it compares the score with last year’s cut-off points, which move every year.

How the 6 school choices work
Children are considered in order of PSLE Score, best first, for the schools they chose, within their Posting Group. A score of 21 or 22 can go through Posting Group 3 or 2, and 25 through Posting Group 2 or 1, so those families pick one group before submitting.
When children with the same score compete for the last places, MOE uses tie-breakers in this order: citizenship (Singapore Citizens, then Permanent Residents, then international students), the order of the school choices, then computerised balloting.

Spreading the choices
MOE treats last year's ranges as a reference only. They move from year to year, and meeting a cut-off does not guarantee a place. This is a method, not advice about any school.
- A stretch: one or two schools whose 2025 cut-off was a point or two better than your child's score.
- Close: schools whose cut-off was the same as the score or one point weaker. A tie-breaker can decide these.
- A margin: schools whose cut-off was two or more points weaker than the score.
- Beyond the number: travel time, CCAs, subjects and how the school feels to your child.

After the choices: what to do before Sec 1
- Rest first. P6 has been a long year.
- Keep a little reading and Maths going in December, so January does not start cold.
- Look at the Posting Group: it sets the starting level for most subjects, and a strong AL in one subject can let that subject start higher.
- If Maths was the weakest PSLE subject, a few lessons on algebra before January help most. Sec 1 Maths moves from model drawing to algebra.

Common questions
When are the 2026 PSLE results released?
MOE lists Tuesday 24 or Wednesday 25 November 2026 (tentative), at 11am. School choices open at 11.30am the same day for 7 calendar days.
Are the cut-off points on this page for 2026?
No. They are MOE SchoolFinder's PSLE score ranges of 2025, used to post last year's cohort. The 2026 cut-off points appear in SchoolFinder after posting results in December.
Will a score equal to the cut-off point get my child in?
Not for certain. Children with the same score are separated by citizenship, then choice order, then computerised balloting.
What if none of the 6 choices succeed?
MOE posts the child to a school with places left in their Posting Group. Spreading the 6 choices across stretch, close and margin schools lowers that risk.
