One 2027 school calendar for Singapore families: MOE term dates and holidays, MOM public holidays, school days off-in-lieu, JC1 start, and the results and SEC exam months to plan around.
The 2027 school calendar below combines MOE's term dates (14 Jul 2026), MOM's public holidays (18 Jun 2026) and the national results dates on SEAB's page (13 Aug 2026). Every results date is tentative, as SEAB and MOE both say.
Every school term 2027 in Singapore is exactly 10 weeks, or 50 weekdays, for primary and secondary students. Some calendars call Term I an 11-week term, but MOE's dates, Mon 4 Jan to Fri 12 Mar, give 10. After public holidays and school closures, we count 188 school weekdays for secondary students and 187 for primary. These are our counts from MOE's dates, and a school's own events can lower them.

Monday loses the most school days in 2027. Five Mondays in term are closures (8 Feb, 3 May, 17 May, 5 Jul and 9 Aug), so a family with a weekly Monday lesson will meet the most clashes.
Four public holidays 2027 in Singapore fall on a weekend: both days of Chinese New Year (Sat 6 and Sun 7 Feb), Labour Day (Sat 1 May) and Christmas Day (Sat 25 Dec), says MOM's release of 18 Jun 2026. Only the Sunday one adds a public holiday for everyone, Mon 8 Feb. MOE then gives schools their own off-in-lieu days for the rest.

The three school days off-in-lieu in 2027, Tue 9 Feb, Mon 3 May and Mon 27 Dec, are not gazetted public holidays. MOE says schools, General Offices, Student Care Centres and KCare centres close on these days, while most workplaces stay open, so working parents need childcare cover.
Singapore students also get three-day weekends in 2027 with Good Friday (26 to 28 Mar), Labour Day (1 to 3 May), Hari Raya Haji (15 to 17 May) and Youth Day (3 to 5 Jul).
MOE has four scheduled school holidays in 2027 that are not public holidays: Mon 5 Jul after Youth Day (Sun 4 Jul), Tue 10 Aug after National Day, Fri 3 Sep for Teachers' Day, and Fri 8 Oct for Children's Day (MOE, 14 Jul 2026). Parents still work on these days.
Children's Day on Fri 8 Oct 2027 is a holiday only for primary schools and the primary sections of full schools. A secondary sibling still has school that day.
JC1 and MI1 students in Singapore have a shorter Term I in 2027, from Wed 3 Feb to Fri 12 Mar, because they first wait for O-Level results and JAE posting (MOE, 14 Jul 2026). Their Term IV runs a week longer, to Fri 26 Nov, so their year-end holidays start on Sat 27 Nov. MI2 students start on Mon 11 Jan.

Schools used as SEC written-exam venues end their final term on Fri 29 Oct 2027 (MOE, 14 Jul 2026). MOE's release does not list the venue schools, so ask your child's school whether it is one.
For Singapore's national exams in 2027, only the results of the 2026 exams have dates: O-Level 2026 results on 13 to 15 Jan 2027 and A-Level 2026 results on 19 to 23 Feb 2027, both tentative on SEAB's page (13 Aug 2026).

The 2027 school calendar in Singapore has the same shape as 2026's, with each holiday one day earlier. Term I starts two days later, on Mon 4 Jan rather than Fri 2 Jan (MOE, 14 Jul 2026 and 30 Jul 2025).

The June holidays 2027, 30 days from Sat 29 May to Sun 27 Jun, are the last long break before Singapore's SEC English and Mother Tongue papers in September. School preliminary exams come before the national papers, and each school sets its own dates, so ask for the 2027 assessment plan and see how WA1, WA2 and SA2 spread across the terms.
The March holidays 2027 run from Sat 13 to Sun 21 Mar, between Term I and Term II (MOE, 14 Jul 2026).
The June holidays 2027 run from Sat 29 May to Sun 27 Jun, 30 days in total. Term III starts on Mon 28 Jun.
No. Mon 3 May 2027 is a school day off-in-lieu for Labour Day, which falls on Sat 1 May. MOM lists only Mon 8 Feb as an extra public holiday in 2027.
