I took my A-Levels in 2024, where I scored a B for H2 Chemistry and was in the top 25% of my JC cohort. I teach Upper Secondary Chemistry to students from Sec 3 to Sec 5.

How I teach

I have 2 years of tutoring experience. Most of it comes from teaching my two younger sisters through primary and secondary school, and I still teach them now.

I focus on students with a weak foundation. I adjust how I teach to each student. If a student is weak in one topic, I work on that weak spot first before we move on. When the exam is close and time is short, I focus more on the student's strong areas, so they can score as many marks as possible on the questions they are most confident about.

In my view, a student who finds a subject hard is usually not bad at it. Often they need a bit more time to understand the topic, or they feel unsure about asking for help.

I teach Upper Secondary Chemistry for Sec 3 to Sec 5, including students preparing for the Sec 4 exams.
