GCE O-Level
Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level (final sitting: 2026)
The GCE O-Level is Singapore's national end-of-secondary-school examination, jointly examined by SEAB and Cambridge Assessment, sat at the end of Sec 4 or Sec 5. The November 2026 examination is the final O-Level sitting; from 2027 it is replaced by the Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC).
In context
O-Level grades are A1 (best) to F9 (worst). Results determine entry to JC (Junior College, A-Level pathway), Polytechnic (3-year diploma) or ITE. Common syllabus codes for the final 2026 sitting: 4052 (Mathematics, E-Math), 4049 (Additional Mathematics, A-Math), 5086 (Combined Science Physics + Chemistry), 5087 (Combined Science Physics + Biology). At SEC G3 from 2027 the equivalents carry K-prefix codes (K310 Math, K341 A-Math, K326-K328 Combined Science).
