O-Level A-Math (Additional Mathematics) is the deeper, more abstract O-Level mathematics subject, syllabus code 4049. Taken alongside E-Math by students aiming for JC (especially the Sciences track) or Polytechnic engineering courses.
In context
A-Math covers algebra (including binomial theorem, partial fractions), trigonometry (more advanced identities), calculus (differentiation and integration introduction), geometry (circles, vectors), and exponentials/logarithms. Two papers. The hardest A1-vs-A2 differentiator at most schools is the calculus application questions.
