MOE is the Ministry of Education of Singapore, the government ministry responsible for the entire pre-tertiary, polytechnic and ITE education system in Singapore. MOE sets the curriculum, manages government schools, and trains teachers through the National Institute of Education (NIE).

MOE-aligned tuition means lessons that follow the official Singapore curriculum and SEAB syllabus codes (e.g. 4052 for O-Level Math, 9758 for JC H2 Math). Most reputable Singapore tutors are NIE-trained or have the equivalent.
