IP
Integrated Programme
The Integrated Programme (IP) is a 6-year through-train Singapore secondary + JC programme that bypasses the O-Level examination. IP students proceed directly from Year 4 to JC1.
In context
IP schools include Raffles Institution, Hwa Chong Institution, NUS High School, Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), River Valley High, Methodist Girls' School, and others. IP curricula are school-set in years 1-4 (no national exam) but sit the A-Level (or equivalent: NUS High Diploma, ACS(I) IB) at the end of year 6.
