I graduated from The University of Edinburgh, UK, with an Honours degree in Law and Business Studies, and I am an IB Diploma graduate. I teach English to students from K1 and K2 through Primary and Secondary, and to IB students.

How I teach

I am new to tutoring, with less than 1 year of experience. Law school taught me to analyse, organise my ideas and put across a viewpoint with clarity and structure. I teach these skills so that students can handle close reading, book reviews and essays more easily. I also have a coaching background as a Mind Body Eating Coach. I am patient, friendly and encouraging, and I tailor lessons to what each student wants to work on.

What I cover at each level:

• K1 and K2: phonics, correct pronunciation and vocabulary
• Primary: vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension (literary devices and figurative language), and narrative and situational writing such as emails and letters
• Secondary and IB: comprehension and analysis, academic essays (strong introductions and well structured arguments), and persuasive and creative writing

I also help with IELTS Academic preparation, conversational English, Business English and job interview preparation.
