I am an A-Level graduate and I have been tutoring for 4 years. I took H2 Chemistry and completed the H3 Chemistry programme in junior college. I teach E-Math and A-Math to Secondary 3 students.

Qualifications

• A-Level, with A grades in H2 Chemistry throughout my two years in junior college
• Completed the H3 Chemistry programme
• A* for PSLE Science (2019)

How I teach

I have 4 years of tutoring experience, and in junior college I also took part in peer tutoring. I studied under the current syllabus quite recently, so I know the exam formats well.

My lessons focus on three things:

• Simplified content, so that hard topics are broken down into clear, manageable steps
• Exam techniques, so that students understand the concepts and also know how to present their answers to score marks
• Bridging gaps, so that weak areas from earlier topics are fixed before we build on them

I teach in a patient, peer-to-peer style and prepare my own notes for students.
