International Baccalaureate Diploma
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) is a 2-year pre-university programme assessed by the IB Organisation. In Singapore it is offered by ACS(I), SJI, ACS(BR), Tanglin Trust, UWC, Dover Court, and several other international schools.
In context
IB students take 6 subjects (3 HL Higher Level, 3 SL Standard Level), plus Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service). Final score out of 45. Singapore IB cohorts have historically been the strongest in the world by mean score.
