How it fits today's syllabus
This 2024 prelim was set for the PSLE before 2026, under the older Primary Mathematics syllabus and timing. From 2026 the PSLE follows the 2021 syllabus, which no longer tests speed, and both papers are 50 marks, with 1 h 10 min for Paper 1 and 1 h 20 min for Paper 2. Skip these questions: P2 Q3 (speed).
