Is the trial lesson really free?▼
Yes. The first 30–60 minutes with your matched tutor is free. No card, no commitment. If you continue with the tutor, lessons start at the agreed hourly rate from the second lesson onwards.
What happens during the trial?▼
The tutor reviews your child's current level, identifies the immediate gap, and demonstrates how they'd structure the first 4–6 weeks. Parents typically sit in for the first 10–15 minutes and step out so the child can engage with the tutor directly.
What if the tutor isn't the right fit?▼
We re-match free of charge. Tell us what didn't work — pace, personality, subject focus, schedule — and we surface 2 more profiles. No fee, no awkwardness.
How fast can the trial happen?▼
Non-urgent: tutor matched in 3–7 days, trial within 7–10 days. Exam-period urgent (8 weeks before PSLE / O-Level / A-Level / IB): matched within 48 hours, trial within 5–7 days.
Online or in-home trial?▼
Either. Online trials run via Zoom or Google Meet. In-home trials are available island-wide. Same hourly rate after the trial regardless of format.
